The iPad does not come with a printed manual.  If you are new to this remarkable device, this workshop will teach you the basics of navigation, using settings to personalize your iPad, and how to use some of the pre-installed apps.  Even if you are already using your iPad for some basic functions, this workshop will fill in some gaps.
